experience with closed box CAI like the LMI box?

They usually say to get the hellcat filter, hellcat lower box, and the tube that reaches out to the snorkel in the grill (Scat Packs have the snorkels in grill). I’ve read enough as well about all the different kinds of CAI. I was wondering if anyone had experience with closed box CAI like the LMI box or anything.

The scat packs have the opening in the grill, but there is a shield that goes beside the radiator that on the scat pack is closed off. For the hellcat it has an opening. That also needs to be replaced. The link provided above has the radiator shield, the duct/tube and the lower air box. All you would then need is the hellcat air filter.Attached Thumbnails

Instead of buying a new piece, I bet I could do a pretty good job
of neatly copying that opening as to location and size...
I like it that Dodge also has the plastic part to get you started
toward brake ducts, if you do road course track days.
