Replacing parts due to surface rust?!? Oh man, let me give you the number to my auto parts store. I'd LOVE to have this kind of business! I bet this car is in a car wash every few days. Looks pretty water logged. The rust on the control arm was especially damning, looks like water was sitting there for days. Rust was everywhere water would sit, and on non

coated parts that really didn't look bad. The bolt with a crack? Maybe! Could have been over torqued, stranger things have happened can't deny that one. Let's not forget this guy just had a dispute with the same company over a lemon law. This car, which he repeatedly tells us how much he spent, is going to be looked at with a fine tooth comb for it's life and any

issue is going to be 100% blown way out of proportion. Is any car manufacturer to be trusted? Hell naw. Not ever. Car manufacturer's should never be trusted when it comes to defects, and dealerships are literally a cancer to the parts and service world. C'mon man, you can buy all these parts brand new from any OEM replacement company, and they will all look the

same after a few months of being driven in water and left to sit. You have a chip on your shoulder, and you know it. The only claim you have is an over torqued bolt at best. That's whats sad, you want a full front end replacement and didn't get it. I get it, I really do. My wife and I have a 50K Ram and a 43K Cherokee, both FCA products. We've had issues. BOTH trucks

had surface rust on them month after purchase, I look every time I do the oil change. Both are daily drivers for us. Both go though all sorts of hellish outdoors conditions. The temperatures here can go from heat to winter cold blast in a single day. This is all normal!
