Below is a great example of one of our NSR camshafts in action. Daniel brought us his bone stock 2009 Challenger R/T with the 5.7L HEMI with a transplant in mind. We replaced his 5.7L with one of our 6.4L HEMI crate motors and then took it a step further with one of our NSR camshafts, some long tube headers from Kooks, LMI cold air intake, and one of our own ported throttle bodies. This 2009 Challenger R/T is now putting down over 507RWHP and 473FTLBS of torque to the pavement!

Some cams may fit a certain build, but for the most part, compromises are made to accommodate the wide variety of builds that should require a personal touch. "Titanium vs steel"
Titanium retainers do not belong in a street engine. It will wear more than steel and contaminate the oil. Even todays NASCAR engines use steel over titanium. Besides Titanium does not offer a considerable weight advantage because of the size of our retainers.
Spring Choice

Bigger is not better...
Make sure the spring is right for your cam. To use a 650 lift spring on a 600 lift cam maybe less reliable not more. Spring Seat & Shims

A spring seat is used to locate and limit spring movement on head. If this is not properly done it results in contaminates in oil. Always make sure you receive shims required for proper install of spring being used. It is not magic. If you do not see these components as part of your kit you are purchasing the wrong kit.
