Ok, I'm going to show my ignorance. What the hell is a common block?? I've listened to you guys talk about them for a year now and I just pretended I knew what was going on.


As for the purchase, we need to set up a Maurice needs a Turbo K now fund. I've always wanted to see a fast one.

Common blocks are 89 and newer engines, the 88 and older 2.2's turbo 1's weren't crossdrilled like the T2's. The Common blocks are cross drilled like the t2's regardless if they were IC or not.
