Dammit! No fair!
like anyone could really use that on a street car. Its only not fair if you plan on building a full race truck Jeff, otherwise you don't really need all that fiberglass. You'll already be traction challenged.

but taking weight off the front wont make the traction problem any worse. If anything - better! Since the whole truck will weigh less and will get moving easier. Now a fiberglass box, that would be dumb. I have seen S-10s with 'glass boxes made for pool trucks.
actually taking weight off the front of the truck would be an excellent move, allowing the front to lift easier will cause better weight transfer, therefore better traction off the line.
I agree, but in a street driven truck, with a 5spd and 340. With that combo it shouldn't take much effort to break loose even some decent tires. Maybe I am just understand this wrong, but you have to have a certain degree of initial traction to get you moving before you have any effective weight transfer.

you are right, im sure it wont take much to make it squirly. But nice tires, slicks, pinion snubber, maybe caltec bars, 90/10s in the front, and wide tires should help a lot. If anything, i'll add weight to the back, and remove from the front. I'm also planning on hanging a fuel cell behind the axle which will help.
Cosmetics is the last step anyway. I'm just seeing what's out there.
bleh, just cut a hole in the top of the tail gate, fill it with sand and seal it back up.
to move weight further back just put the tailgate down.

OR! you can buy some of my 20's that i tried to sell you for your HoRicen and tie them to your axle instead. we both can win that way
