waiting periods suck my ass
I have my last final, Engineering Calc I, tomorrow and i can't sleep. Why? Because I can't pick up my fucking 1911-A1 until THURSDAY. Fucking piece of shit asshole jizzball cunt rag waiting periods suck my ass. If I was able to put a box or 10 of 230 grain Federal Hydra-shoks through it, I'd already be sound asleep. Of course, I can't shoot my new WWII reproduction 1911-A1 because I haven't paid the guy the rest of the money yet so he hasn't shipped it. I'll post pics of both guns when I get them. The WWII repro is what's in my sig.
Also found a local, run down, hole in the wall pawn shop with a goddamn Union Switch and Signal 1911-A1. Purely by coincidence no less. Damn nice shape too, but he wants $1500 for it
*sigh* my WWII memorabilia grows...I bought a case of 1943 vintage .45ACP hardball ammo at the gun show.
I've got a grandeous idea for a display too. My colt repro will be inside a glass case, lying on top of a genuine USGI holster. The box of ammo in the middle. That gun will be on the right side. The left side will be empty for a while but will eventually be filled with a real WWII 1911 and holster. After I buy a Kimber for my concealed gun, I'll be purchasing a WWII USGI M1 Garand and hanging it on the wall behind the 1911's. It's gonna be badassed, and their is a gun shop that deals in only old M1 Garands. Pretty sweet, only like $800 for an original.
