I am installing a stereo in my wifes PT Cruiser and have no room for the huge fuse holder I want to use. I was thinking about getting a cheap air intake so I could remove the factory air box to make room for the fuse. I am not concerned with "maximum hp gain" but I don't want to lose hp either. Is there the possiblity of hp lose or is just about anything better than the factory air box. Don't know for sure, I drive v8's. If it was me, I'd go to an exhaust shop buy some metal bend it myself and then get a k&N. More air means you'll need more fuel which could result in better effiecency. But I don't know for sure if you will gain or lose hp/tq
