Well the SEMA show was this past week and Mopar took the time and effort to tactically unveil its upgrades for this upcoming segment buster. Aside from an available Coil over suspension kit, Mopar will also offer Seating upgrades and a healthy dose of power infusion to the 2.4L motor.
Stock SCC dyno tested one at 223whp and 50wt but according to DCX the car is still rated at 215hp and 245ft.lb torque (crank or wheel we'll never know which they are reffering to..???), so we'll have to wait and see what actual owners get. Im the meantime DCX's Mopar Division has released the final specs of the 3 available Performance upgrade packages:
So i guess basically when the ricers see an SRT coming they might as well not even try cause 300hp and 300ft.lb torque at the wheels is a force to wreckoned with if you ask me....

Stage III = Super 60 of the future
I knew they were going to do that. I just hope it has O2 feedback on the Stage III ECM

There are always ways to trick the computer. They did not make it impossible to trick the computer, they just made it impossible for us to do it using our old methods like grainger valves and zeners.
I think what you will see is that to play with the boost you are going to either need some sort of piggy back to modify the signals the comp sees and sends or someone is going to have to figure out how they code these things so that custom cals can be written.
300hp and 300ft-lbs seems a good deal below what this engine should be capable of.

yeah, but you must realize they arent gonna make a 450HP monster accessable to the public. As for breaking the cal codes... i dunno.. even Gen1 neon codes are virtually impossible to trick. TD's cals are 1000x more basic, thats why they broke those. But its not like people wont have aftermarket shit for the SRT. People might admit they own a dodge now. Companies will be like "Dodge? is that a new car company? yeah, we can make some stuff for them i guess"
