Simple..commuting to USF. That's about 20-30 miles a day. My truck gets about 11-12 MPG on the highway...worse now with 33s. The Camaro was probably marginally better. Plus with all those miles I need something reliable and economical. Then came price. I pay about $200 a month for the Focus. I got a helluva deal + factory rebates + more discount for buying the extended warranty. Only Neon I would have considered was an R/T and it was too much $, with no rebates or incentives. There is a reason Ford is the #1 selling brand of domestic vehicles in America...they kinda give them away if you will. So, under my parents' guidance (put mildly) I got a Focus. I wouldn't trrade it either, it's comfortable as hell. The interior rocks, and my new headlights are pimp shiznit

I guess you are more willing to bend over than I am. I don't care if I didn't have to pay one dime for a Ford, I still wouldn't drive it. But that's me I am just alittle brand partial, call it a woman flaw.

just for yucks... in all seriousness.. how much are they "giving away" cars for these days? $200 for how long? How much did your insurance go up from the IROC to this? Anyone price a new neon lately? nothing optioned out.. just new.
