well, i went and looked at this one [http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1857597611] today. Got the standard used car lot deal. Test drove it though. I think i fit nice in it. It drove smooth and straight. No Shakes or strange noises.

I asked what they were looking to get for it. They asked if i was gonna pay cash or finance. I said cash and they were like "oh, we can definatly work with you!" So they said they were asking $5,900. I said I was looking to spend $3000. The best "deal" they gave me was $4,400.. which is funny b/c buy it now on ebay is $4000. However, the 4400 includes all the fees and crap which the auction says is at least $200. Plus taxes, which the 4400 included. But the reserve is still lower than that. I told him i need to talk it over with my dad and stuff and i'll get back.

But the truck was way cool to drive. I miss V8s.

well, if the truck feels right to you, like you don't get a bad feeling about it then go for it. I've test driven cars that didn't "feel" right and later regretted buying themm like my duster, but now I love that car.

i just loved it... push the gas, it goes. Fun being a 5-spd too. I'd seriously go thru rear tires on it!! Not too many short front/short back V8s, and 5spds out there. Most are X-cab.

There's always this one for $4400...

the only bad feelings i get about it are... its too much what i want... i am not supposed to get neat things like that. Something always has to be wrong. Or it has to be a 2.5 truck or something. I cant have all that goodness.

My buddies Dak is regular cab short bed 318 5spd, cept its a 98. He just buys cheap tires. He also has to starts out in second gear because he has a factory equiped 3.90 (3.92?) : 1 rear. That bish is fun to ride in

Yup I know what you mean. It was like this time when I was in high school, my dad needed a new car to replace the festiva, so he bought a eagle talon without my mom. I saw it in the driveway walking back from the bus stop and knew immediately what my dad had done. I loved that car for the 3 short days we had it, since my mom made him take it back.

And thats part of the story how my parents came to own Hyundais, because they listened to the Jackasses at Bob Dance Dodge Jeep Eagle Hyundai when they said the elantra has 2.xx more cubic ft of interior than the Neon. I said get two neons, or even one and a Hyundai, but it didn't happen.

So it started off with something that was too good to be true and ended up with two Hyundais. Take into account at the time we had a festiva and a Voyager, so a Talon seemed like gold to me especially just having my permit and needing to learn manual
