Although I still wish I had my pan car, not much for suspension, but hella fast with direct drive and a 27 turn stock motor. I remember putting my 14 turn it once and that thing was off the wall uncontrollable fast, the only car that has gone down the sewer.

Not to mention I have AWD and some bad to the bone Proline V treaded rubbers that are ultra soft.
Mod motors rule. And so do 2 spds.

I've got stockers in all mine. The schmauchers tuned midnight is pretty nasty though.

Doesnt Shumacher have a distribution center somewhere in FL? I cannot remember its been a while since my subscription to RC Car Action expired. They are cool, always used to send me like 3-4 more issues after my subscription ended asking if I still wanted to renew

I'm pretty sure they do. I haven't been serious about it for almost 3-4 years now. It was fun in high school when i didn't have a real car i wanted to work on. Now its becoming fun again because its cheaper than spending money on my real cars. I'm kinda gettin into rc planes though, bought a controller and a couple kits but then my motor went and I'm just now getting back to the planes.

And yes my schmaucher is really old. It was one of the very first awd touring cars.

oh so you have a touring car too, I thought you might have had one of their buggies, almost forgot that they even made touring cars

Same here though I haven't been into it at least 3 years now. But when I was the people at the hobby shop knew me by name, wonder if they still remember me?

If I were to go back now I would probably be into making my own custom nitro car or those micro RS4's, and maybe even wouldn't mind building a small airplane. I don't think I could have built a airplane before in high school, I wasn't quite at that skill level of fabrication. They are sooo much different than bolting together some plastic and metal parts.

OOOhhh, those micro rs4s are really cool. I've debated over getting the viper and putting an oreca paint job on it.

I've got a couple of park flyers, good trainers, and hope to start messing with em pretty soon. And no, they definitely aren't like a car kit.
