Does anyone know where to get a 2.2 L turbo iii engine from a Datona or spirit? asking for someone else

Ok sorry, just a mopar thing. Cheapest would be to look at cophers. Jeff (fearthe4doors) probably has 2 dozen sitting in his garage, see what he says.

Default turbo 2 will suffice.

Your right a T2 would probably be fine a little less horsepower but i can take care of that with a few modifications. If i find a turbo 3 Ill definitely use it for the horsepower, or a turbo 4 for the crazy torque. By the way 5slow was posting that for me.

You are actually probably better off with the T2 than a T3 even if you have to make a few mods. Mods are easy on the SOHC turbo engines, plus the heads on the DOHC are known to crack because Lotus forgot about expansion rates of different materials when they chose the freeze plugs to use.

do you mean just the Turbo or the whole engine? when I talk T2 I refer to a 2.2 Intercooled from factory. When I talk T3 engine I refer to it as the DOHC 2.2. I always thought that the T3 engine used the same Turbo and Block as the T2. Then again I'm stuck on v8's
