2.2L Turbo iii engine?
Does anyone know where to get a 2.2 L turbo iii engine from a Datona or spirit? asking for someone else

5Slow.. good luck. Cophers isnt going to have one. I have been frequenting cophers for the last 3 years looking for turbo dodges and only found 1 T3 and it wasnt complete. Who are you looking for one for? What are they doing with it? I really doubt you could find anyone with a complete T3 and if they have one, they wont sell it for less than $2000. Parts are very scarce for them. And the engines arent the most reliable. Whats to become of the engine if you find one? I'm sure theres other routes s/he can take.

Jeff is a Cophers gopher. At least he isnt like most other idiots that go there. They buy a fucking engine for 150 and resell the motherfucker for 400 or more. " ya cant find em in the yards anymore. Anyways Do you NEEd a T3 for something specific? If not a T2 would more than likely sufice most HP needs, unless you actually need the T3 for a specific car or something.

turbo 2 will suffice.
Your right a T2 would probably be fine a little less horsepower but i can take care of that with a few modifications. If i find a turbo 3 Ill definitely use it for the horsepower, or a turbo 4 for the crazy torque. By the way 5slow was posting that for me.

You are actually probably better off with the T2 than a T3 even if you have to make a few mods. Mods are easy on the SOHC turbo engines, plus the heads on the DOHC are known to crack because Lotus forgot about expansion rates of different materials when they chose the freeze plugs to use.

do you mean just the Turbo or the whole engine? when I talk T2 I refer to a 2.2 Intercooled from factory. When I talk T3 engine I refer to it as the DOHC 2.2. I always thought that the T3 engine used the same Turbo and Block as the T2. Then again I'm stuck on v8's
