Maybe you should go to events that have skilled drivers. At the last sunriders event 2 cars stuck out. First was the v6 stalker and second was a bone stock neon acr on victoracers. The stalker beat the acr by roughly .1 sec, and had azenis, which the sunriders course favors. Anyway both of those cars were 3-4 sec ahead of the closest competitor on a 42 sec course which as you know is a huge difference. Friend in stock 97 gsr could only manage a 50 on bfg comp tas, full slicks.

Edit: There were also several heavily modified wrxs that were running something like 47 sec.

True I have yet to go to a sunriders event, although to say that there are no skilled drivers at an SCCA event is pure idiocy.

I've seen the stalker 6 he goes to the scca events and was at the last pca event.
Drag radials suck on an autox course, trust me I've run them and azenis.
aside from that the sunriders events definately favor small low powered rwd vehicles. I'm tempted to run it full slide style but if there are a lot of slaloms I need grippy tires in the back, which I don't have right now.

Let me rephrase what I said.

Skilled drivers driving neons.

The few that are in this area run the sunriders because its extremely laid back or rarely the cfr events. The good drivers want events that pay and now that chrysler has reinstated contingency money, they are at national events and don't waste there time here.

Well I will be out on Sat, My pic is in my sig along with my car. I will probably have the horns hidden but the redness will be in full effect.

Come over and say hey if you see me. I really am a nice guy, just don't ask any of these mopar people, they don't trust me cuz I ride both sides of the automotive fence.

I think Joe will be there as well.
