the pain.... ooohhhh the pain....
ramchargers don't pwn me...
List of things that need repair/replace
Heads - Needed to be milled slightly / valves will be reseated too
Headgasket - blown
Radiator - Had 3 leaks and the core was working at 20%
Water Pump - might as well, it's torn down
Timing Chains - Worn and on their last leg
Spark Plug wires - might as well, they are baked
O2 sensor - dead
the list is growing all the time... and I am still out a vehicle... getting real old... real old....

thats not that bad, small block mopar heads are readily available, timing chain pretty cheap just a pain to do, water pump about $20-30 fairly easy to do, O2 sensor you could get at the junkyard so free, plug wires cheap as long as you go auto part store brand as far as radiator that depends on the year and wether or not you have a/c So what year is it?
It's an 89 with AC
I tried but he's a lazy bastard and took it to a shop.
aside from that his lifters and the whole valley look totally different from mine.
plus he's tbi with o2 sensors and junk.

unless they are roller lifters. Not sure about the block, however they were starting to redesign the later la engines to introduce the new magnums, so the last couple of years had some differences in them. not sure if it affects part interchangeability (?). SHOULD be the same not positive for sure though.
I'd have to see it to know for sure. You know me, unfortunately
