Ah geez that sux dude.
I know exactly how it is. This was the first time I rebuilt a engine and it felt like everything was going wrong. To the day it pisses me off that I always need some new part or that my car starts making some new noise each week which I must fix. It feels like a neverending cycle. I spent over a year just rebuilding the engine, and I just wish I was done with all this shit too, at least for a little while.
All I can tell you is just tighten the sonofbishes down more than what is required and see if that works. Maybe the backside of that head is not completely flat.
Buying a new car is not going to be much better. They still break sometimes, only difference is the dealer takes your car instead of you working on it. In which case they usually take there sweet ass time
GL with the spirit d00d, just stick it out, especially since you have done so much work so far

I thought the Chrysler trademark was leak exhaust manifolds? j/k Have you checked to see if your head is warped? (not the one attatched to your body, either of 'em
) If so send the bizatch back and get a new one. Cars are exactly like women, no matter what you'll always be dealing with some issue.
