Default Mopars 4th and 5th at lemans........

Well, kind of......actually not really. A similar car that was run last year with a big chrysler v8 and placed 4th last year placed 4th and 5th this year. All though kind of a major redesign to work with the judd v10, if chrysler would have supported team oreca this year they would have been a serious contender.....oh well so much for daimlers decision to pull support for motorsports.....

One of the stupidest decisions ever made by Daimler: killing factory support for the Vipers.

So we lose that but get NASCAR? I understand NASCAR helps them sell cars but there are a lot of people out there who do watch racing but won't watch NASCAR. I would like to see Daimler step it back up and bring back the factory backed teams. I would also like to see them get more into WRC next year when the SRT-4 comes out.

I think dodge is giving a little support in north american rally for the srt-4, several are already rallying.

I understand why oreca stopped with the vipers, gm was spending massive amounts of money on the corvettes and chrysler wasn't helping oreca. I could only imagine how much better the vipers would be if they were still being developed...
