Need tranny help!!! 05 SRT 4
My dad has an 05 dodge srt 4. He had the clutch replaced, (w/ Stock clutch) it now grinds when you put it into 3rd gear. He needs someone to look/fix this problem. He is wanting to put the car up for sale and doesnt want it to have problems for the next owner. If anyone knows what it may be and able to fix please_shared_pm me ASAP Thanks~!

Sounds like it needs 3rd synchros and/or shift fork. It's a pretty common problem. Hell mine pops out of third when downshifting from 4th, 9 times out of 10.

Was the clutch release fork replaced when the clutch got replaced? That and and pivot ball should have been replaced. Was this 3rd gear problem present before the clutch replacement?

Yep this is ryan! I believe just the clutch was replaced. There was no previous problems with the transmission. (figs??? Jesus???) is that you
