Kind of curious how did you blow your engine?? I blew mine about 2 months
ago when i sucked water in through my iceman. Got my
pistons last friday and took it down to the machine shop to get it bored and
found a cracked block yesterday. Fortunately found a whole engine in
lakeland so new block and crank but still another week to get it back. Cant
wait though.

I thought about a 2.4 swap. I already had some major port work done to the
head so i wanted to keep it. Im getting it bored .020 over with 12.5:1 je
forged pistons eagle forged rods lightened crank ported manifold crane 16
cams cam gears and a whole bunch of other stuff all at once.

The main problem with the 2.4 swap is the weight. I dont want to shave my
ac and power steering yet and if i keep that stuff the 2.4 puts about 75
pounds over the front wheels. Also with the crane cams and my head the
swaps dont run that great Id have to get pt cruiser cams.
