they wont fit at all 1999 is still the 1st gen style. if its 2000 and up then yes it will. the srt rims, and seats swap directly but motor/trans take a bit of work (hope you also got the pcm and key/ignition). all of the 2md gen neon parts swap but not with the 1st gen.

its fine for you to put that stuff on but you have to keep it a stick in the neon and you should have no problems

what????????????????????? where are you getting your information from? the srt motor wont sork with the stock neon transmission, the motor mounts are all different, the motor wont run without a flashed ecu to the key that has a micro chip in it unless you run a standalone. body parts arent even close.

The srt engine will too work with a stock Neon trans. Just look under my hood. Also you can change the mounts. It's not that hard. The key does not have an actual chip in it but more of a resistor. If the PCM does not get the correct resistance value from the key then it will not allow the engine to run for much longer than ten seconds if that. Also just run megasquirt.

the srt engine makes too much torque for a stock neon tranny, all you will do is be replacing it. plenty of people have used srt motors in the 1st gen, and yeah like i mentioned standalone (megasquirt)... i still feel using an older 2.4 is better, cheaper, and way easier. i have a srt valve cover and no one can tell the difference. almost all srt motor parts work on the older 2.4 and you can get it running without the srt ecu/key or standalone. theres even kits for the older 2.4 to bolt right in it took me a cople hours to swap mine in, swap pins on the pcm and it was running

Well I have had my SRT powered Neon for about a year now and so far no issues. I have a missing 5th gear syncro but thats it (it was shot before I changed to the SRT motor).
