DEumb Question about 273 cid engine

I know that the 273 is a non poly a emgine but if i order a 4bbl intake for a 318 will it work? The reason I am asking is I ran into some trouble a while back putting a 4bbl intake of an 85 318 onto a 68 318 bolt holes didnt line up and I dont want to spend 300 bucks to find out it wont work.

it should work fine since like you said the 66 318 was the poly 318 also known as wide-block for obvious reasons... the 273 318 340 and 360 can all use the same intakes & heads for the most part... (using 340/360 heads on the 273 may require cutting for the valves)
