All I have to say is give me $35000 and I will build you a Dak that can whip up on that Turd Lightning like a redheaded stepchild.

Thank you have a nice day.

Haha. I was so close to buying an R/T but changed my mind. The performance just isnt there. 360ci motor and only 245hp? Whats up with that?

87IROC Id like to see you drive a Charger in Germany. There are so many cars over there that would leave you like your standing still. Alot of those cars are built for high-speed cruising unlike American cars (especially one that old).

not if it has a HEMI and 2.45 gears

that would easily top 150 MPH and look oh so cool..

Oh and on the Dak I agree about the 245 HP 360 (5.9) that is pretty sad... however they are going to have a HO version of the 4.7 that puts out 275 HP and there are superchargers available for all of those engines... the best advantage to the R/T is the amount of torque you have... the major disadvantage is the amount of torque you have.. ok not really IMO the major disadvantage is that you cant get a 5-speed! BAH! Sometimes they get SO CLOSE!

Why does everyone want a manual in a pickup? Ive never seen a truck shifter that was any good especially one that didnt have a mile-long throw.

manual trannies are lighter and give you better gear selection and (as far as I know) are more efficient than automatics...

and #2.. good question. its pretty much up in the air but keep check on sites like www.car-truck.com for info/rumors..
