Default Major crisis: need neon help!!!

Ok heres the deal........ The other day while I was driving around, the car just started to stumble hard. When I let off of the gas, it stopped stumbling. Kinda like I was running outta gas. Actually, it was just like running out of gas. The problem was that I had just filled it up, so I know that there was plenty of gas. So I parked it off of the road and waited for someone to come help me. When they got there I was able to start the car no problem, but anytime I stepped on the gas, the car would stumble or cut out all together. It's still doing this and I can't figure out why. I checked the plug wires and they all came back around 4.55 -4.90 for resistance. If I remember right there was a "k" after the number so I'm not sure if that was suppossed to be 4 thousand or not??? To make things worse now the car won't start at all. It turns over strong as hell, but no starting. Before, I could get it to start up after about 20-30 cranks ( 3-5 minutes). but now nothing...it just turns over like its not getting any fuel or something?? any ideas guys???I don't have hardly any money to throw at this problem, so I need to get it right the first time. Please....Help me and my wife out of this. This has always been the one car we could depend on. Thank you in advance,

new update...... I have now repl;aced the fuel filter, pcv valve, throttle body, map sensor, plug wires, tps, and what ever the other sensor is right next to the tps on the throttle body. You guys, I am at a dead loss now. Nothing is working and I do not know what to do. Help!!!!!!!

p.s. the other thing is.. once its running, it will surge when idling. and when I move the wiring harness that the fuel injectors are plugged into it will surge really strong, as if you were pulling on the throttle cable. Again....with the engine running, when you step on the gas, it will either cut out or just do nothing, or stumble. Thanks again

you say it isnt starting at all? 1st simple thing is check fuel pump fuse then if thats ok there should be a valve on the fuel rail where you can test the pressure also could be bad gas, i had a surging issue once before and used iso heat or something like that for gas treatment (watered down old etc) surging can also be a vac line so check those. hopefully one of those will work for ya...oh s the check engine light on?

update: I checked all the lines and found a cracked line. After fixing that it still wasnt working right. Same shit I mean. Also it is running, but cuts off when you give ity gas like normal. If you very, very gently ease on the pedal, sometimes it will work. Other than that...forget it. So, I changed the pcv valve, nothing. I changed the fuel filter...nothing. My next move is fuel treatment, and then plug wires. I truly dont know what to do now. I would pull out my hair if I had any...maybe Ill pull out my wifes hair. Just kidding. Please help out guys. Thanks again.

Sounds like you have a bum injector or your fuel pump is going out. You said that when you moved the wiring harness around the injectors that the car surged even more. That tells you that you also might have a wiring issue somewhere in there. Try posting www.Neons.org
