Default HELP my 90 shadow isnt getting enough fuel

OK i bought this car several months back as you all remember well i dropped the gas tank. because it was leaking and the fuel pump was whineing so i figured it was becasue the fuel pump couldnt build up enough pressure. so i replaced the gas tank and let the fuel pump sit in wd40 for a few days. Well the fuel pump doesn't whine anymore and the car starts but wont stay running it idles for shit and when you step on the gas it revs but then struggles. like high low high low high low is the best way to describe it. I thought the turbo might be fed but when you can get it to rev normally the turbo spools up and everything and then it will stay at idle for about 5 minutes before the idle drops and the car dies out. the check engine light is one and last i checked it was throwing back a bad injector code. i wanna check it but i have no clue as to how to go about doing it myself. The guy at auto zone told me if iv never done it before not to mess with it so i haven't. i need help guys as i cant afford to pay a mechanic some ungodly amount of money. also you can drive the car it will stay running if you have your foot on the gas contently it just struggles i had to floor it to get it up to 25 MPH also it has the 2.5l turbo

If you decide to sell the car I might be interested in buying it. I might even be able to help you fix it if you could get it to my house in Brooksville as I am very familiar with these cars. Thanks Mike give a call 352-797-6039
