Out of curiosity...how many Dodges (besides Turbo Diesel Trucks) came stock turbo? 4sfed 4 has enlightened me to a few but if anyone just happens to know which ones off of the top of their head it would quench my thirst for knowledge on the subject for the time being.

TIA!

As far as I know Chrysler made over 1000000 turbo cars. Heres a partial model list from memory:

Omni Charger LeBaron Daytona Spirit Shadow 600 and the ever popular Minivan.

Many parts are interchangeable between models and there were and are gazzilions of these in boneyards...thus the cheap entry fee into the Turbo Dodge world. But...SHHHHHH...Lets keep it secret.

New Yorkers Caravelles You name the car... during the 80s Chrysler turbo charged it. It was their answer to fuel ecomemy v/s power. and it was well over a million sold. No one in the world has sold more turbocharged vehicles. All chrysler turbos were liquid cooled. Extreemly easy car to modify... for less than $30 you can go from the stock boost levels to whatever you want.... not smart but possible...

4 basic types...and variations of those

TI- Garret t3 turbo non intercooled..log intake manifold... not much potential 150 hp stock 175 ft lbs

T I- Mitsubish turbo.. less laggy but less flow as well... 2.2L engines from 88 up 150 hp stock 200 ft lbs of torque

T II- 2.2 liter Garret T3 turbo 175 hp 200 Ft Lbs... revs much freeer than the 2.5 engine

T III- 16 Valve head (masserati or lotus design) 225 hp 216 torque... most potential... but extreemly delicate and huge $$$ to fix

T IV- Garret VNT turbo.. no lag hard to mod due to dependence on the exhaust system to regulate the bost pressure.
