Default Couple questions on tubro postions on SRT-4?

Ok I know that tha turbo is mounted in the rear of tha engine bay. And plz don't negative rep me but its been a while since I've seen under tha hood but I'm sure that means thats where tha exhaust/turbo manifold is?

My questions is I've seen it on a video where tha turbo was actually mounted up front like maybe a towards tha drivers side so it can be done but how hard is it?

I'm sure this would mean a lot of custom work and a good bit of money but I'm sure it would be worth it due to an easier postion to work on rite?

Yes and no. You still need room to plumb the exhaust all the way to the turbo and then awat from it and if your using a lrage turbo, that takes up room also. I'd be removing as much as I could from the engine bay and moving everything else lower. You also have to plumb intercooler lines, oil feed and drain lines.

Your better off leaving it around the stock location. Even though depending on what you want to do its a pain to get to. The turbo, manifold, o2 housing and downpipe are in the rear of the engine.

Whenever replacing any part back there usually like a O2 Housing you might as well do everything all at once... ported manifold, 3" O2 Housing, 3" Downpipe, ported and clipped turbo or one of those re-worked stock turbo's like PTP's SST.

There's many other options... you could just go outside of stock bolt on parts and go with a bigger turbo and what not.

or you could buy an AGP cast manifold and the turbo options suddenly get pretty long
