97 dodge 3500 tranny ??
Just bought a 97 3500 dually with a 5 spd and it has no 5th gear. anyone have any ideas how easy it is to fix this? i have heard that it is very easy but dont know where to get the parts to fix it? any help would be much appreciated

May be easy, but it sure ain't gonna be cheap.
It could be as easy as needing just syncro's. The gears sell for about $500.00 each. But you may need the countershaft to fix fifth on that tranny. And that sells for about $1.050.00.
There is a guy Ricks Stick Shift on 49th st. that is really good with those transmissions. 585-9885.

Holly shit i didnt think it would be that exspensive just for one gear.. I am goin to take it to my school and fix it there i just need to get parts first. i go to uti. damn well thnx for the help.
