Default Serious question.

So basically in about 2 or 3 weeks I will be buying Eclipseguy12's SRT-4 if he decides not to sell it I will be getting one anyways...

My question is:

Is the Stage 3 Turbo worth the money for it? I heard with the stage 3 you should be running low 12's high 11's? I have a lot of money to put into this car just want to make the right upgrades and keep it street legal.

Any POSITIVE input would be appreciated.

Go to SRTforums.com. There's a ton of information on srt-4's and about all the "stage" upgrades.

yes stg3 (with toys) is worth it !!!!! turn key, no dyno tuning. 100+ octane and hit the red button !!!!
with stg3 w/toys and the following motor mods i went consistant 12.14's @ 114. (this was with WORN OUT 26x6x15 slicks and the stock clutch w/1.8+ 60's)
(i really don't consider these "motor mods" but) mopar sts w/booger bushings, deyeme "flex" mounts (all 3)oh and the mopar rice plate."motor mods" knn drop in filter ,3" needswings o2 housing and 3" downpipe w/cutout.... car did not pick up any (over the open stock cat) with the downpipe.
other mods were.
hotchkis sways
dc strut tower brace
mopar springs
everthing else was stock..... intercooler, airbox, catback, throttle body etc.

and then i put a 35 wetshot of n2o on and got the following result..this was only spraying in 3rd and 4th gear !!!!!

hope this helps your decission on stg3 !!!!!! MAKE SURE YOU GET IT WITH TOYS!!!!!

Yes leave the DSM dark world and join something better. The SRT-4 is in a whole different class. I like it a lot. We've had ours for about a month now.

But definately check out SRTforums.com for answers and information.

Oh yeah...so after that step, invest in a failsafe to prevent that from ever re-occuring.
