So basiclly, I could get a stratus motor, from an 00 stratus, and swap it into a 98' Dodge avenger and put a SRT4 turbo on it ?

I like the way avengers look for some reason...

yes, you could...but with the eclipse and avenger you have to get creative, since they use a head that is the reverse of the neon(IE exhaust on the front of the engine and intake on the back) and so when using a DOHC neon/2.4 head in one you would have to have to custom route your exhaust...you would probably also want to double check the firewall clearance as well to make sure the turbo will fit...though I think it would fit fine from those engine bays I have seen....or you could use a 2.4L block and the avenger head so you could keep your exhuast up front...but you still have to remember...a 2.4L oil pan is not exactly set up for a front mounted exhaust...though it does have a section where the SRT hotside pipe runs under that could be used...also another possible issue with using the avenger/420a head....the exhaust manifold bolt pattern could be potentially different...I think its the same because Hahn kits sold for the 420A can bolt up to the neon...but that is just second hand info so I cant confirm it....best bet would be to use 2.4 head with the 2.4 block and just custom route the downpipe
