faze tach super slim
hey finally got a tach for neon its a actron faze gauge that goes up 2 10,000 rpms pretty easy install after i found the tach wire my neon didnt have one stock but made due since all neons have the tach wire anyone needs help hooking on up pm me or message me ill put the details and the pic of it finished up soon
and also if i have the time pics of how to install one the way i did it
well first i grounded the wire to the under dash frame about 6 screw or more to take off the plastic part and also the metal part ill get pics up soon next i put instead of going in to engine compartment i put the power wire for the shift light and tach light into the fuse box i got to look to see what ones i used and get pics of it also i splice wire on these wires and the last part was taking off the dash and taking out the guage cluster (mph gas ect) 4 screws. in the back you have two harnesses after you take out the cluster your going pop out the right one leave left one alone and look for the grey wire with a blue strip and go and splice in to it with the green wire which is the rpm wire after you get that dont test it before you put it back together then put it back together and your set :0 hope this is helpful now aslo i was going to put the wire for the tach slpicing into the dimmer like it says in the manual but i thought that i really dont need to dim it because it isnt very blinding bright just perfect hope this helps and will have pics up soon as i get the time-mike

pics finally up first take off ya dash then pics start after that

take the screws out of the left and right side of gauge cluster then pull it away should come off without much pull

then pull up and then out the right connector in pic above^

ok this pic above is where the tach wire is it is a grey wire with a blue streak on it i used inline connectors that came with the tach worked great.

just a pic of where i put the wires down to go to the fuse box in the side

take off cover and also take the screw of the side

take out the 3 or 4 i thinks screws on bottom then pull of carefully the panel

then i showed you where it stuck the wires through the side.after that take the 2 screws out of the side of the fuse bos and in the back of the fuse box pic at bottom

take off the screw on the metal panel then pic of what to do in next pic

then put it all back together and your finished hope it looks great and works good
