Anyone know of anyplace that has a DRB scan tool that will program a VIN and a Sentry Key pin into my Neon's PCM in the Tampa/St. Pete area? The dealership up here (Crystal River) is BS'ing me saying that the VIN is burned into the computer when the people on Neons.org and 2gn.org say it isn't. One guy said he would reprogram it for me if I sent it to him, but i'm growing impatient and it would take too long to send it to him.

Believe the dealer. The VIN's are burned into the PCM's. Is this a used PCM you got from a boneyard or a friend? If thats the case your better off shipping it out for $25 and have it cleared. Now I do recall seeing on SRT forums a procedure to clear it. It's not anything Chrysler came up with, and I'm not sure what years it covered either. And it still required the use of a DRB, and a Chrysler tech that new something.

Yeah, most cannot change the PCM. What MOST people do is have the key re-done to match the PCM. ( if I remember correctly)
