Default gasket maker (NEW PICS)

im talking for the main bearing cap. the book says to use a anaerobic sealant. i bought rtv black. will this work? it doesnt say anything about anaerobic on the package.

you mean the bedplate right? it is NOT the same as anaerobic sealant, you have to get the sealant from the dealer...now that being said I always use just plain old RTV(gasket maker) myself on all my rebuilds...never had a problem...but some people claim it can be a problem

yes the bed plate,bed,main bearing cap, ect ect. i might as well get some of the dodge shit. i work right next to it and its probly not that expensive. i guess its good for peace of mind
