srt4 ques?
i got some questions on getting the stage 3 kit. they told me is was about $4500 installed, will keep warranty, and be included in finance....is it worth it? im thinking about possibly getting an srt. do the tranny's hold up good? and are there any major probs?? also what else would be good to get to go with the stage 3 kit that will keep warranty?
Stage 3 voids your powertrain Warranty ...
Trannys are decent , just can't rag on it every 5 minutes .

Varies from car to car and dealer to dealer. This is how Chrysler words it.
Mopar Performance parts are sold "as is" unless otherwise noted. This means that parts sold by Mopar Performance carry no warranty whatsoever. Implied warranties, such as warranties of merchantability, are excluded. (An implied warranty of merchantability means that the part is reasonably fit for the general purpose for which is was sold). The entire risk as to quality and performance of such parts is with the buyer. Should such parts prove defective following their purchase, the buyer and not the manufacturer, distributor or retailer, assumes the entire cost of all necessary servicing or repair. Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep® vehicle and parts warranties are voided if the vehicle or parts are used for competition. The addition of performance parts does not by itself void a vehicle's warranty. However, added performance parts (parts not originally supplied on the vehicle from the factory) are not covered by the vehicle's warranty, and any failure that they may cause is also not covered by the vehicle's warranty.

The only way to make stage 3 run efectivley is to get the cat delete kit, and when you do that waranty is gone (powertrain). However Dano is correct that it does very from dealership to dealership. He did put it best as he quoted the exact wording verbatem from the SRT4 waranty booklet that you get when you buy the car. Now if you get all mopar, you probably won't get a very hard time if something does break, cause it's mopar. Stage 3 with slicks you should be doing high 11's

well unless you're sleeping with or know a service writer,,,, stg3 will pretty much throw you're warrenty out the window !!!!!! as far as runnin 12's,,,,, a stock srt with JUST stg3 w/toys mounts and a shifter and SLICKS is very capable of low 12's.....
thanks cool. yeah my company has a copoarte account with bob wilson dodge and i know all of the service writers. he was tellin the salesman to take care of me lol. but yea i was def gonna do a 3'' dp and stuff and just run it open and just swap it back to stock if i have any probs. i prob wont run it at the track just because i swore to myself that my next sports car is going to be treated good(u know how that goes lol).
oh ya also, is the stage 3 pretty daily driver reliable? i do quite a bit of driving and kind of want atleast 20mpg
