yes i do have a ornage srt but mine doesnt have cf hood, still rockin the stock bench

 

i was just wondering because i was on 19 and this orange one with cf hood, i see all the time started fing with me(i was in my tiburon gtv6 with shifttronic tranny) i have cai and no muffler just to free up alittle airflow and give it some sound...........anyways he is behind me and jumps on it and starts coming beside me so i down shift and pedal to the floor i stayed ahead of him for a good 50 yards then he came slowly past me so i wasnt that impressed with that car.
not sure what was up with that i know how srts perform and i love em but he wasnt that fast, it was probly the driver. anyways no big deal. are srts any good from a light because this same srt i caught at the track in my gst, stock with just down pipe and i have boost leak so im not performing up to par and in the 8th he only beat me by a couple 10ths i think like 3 or 4 tenths. but like i said probly the driver. dont get me wrong not dissin srt at all if i could have a car it would be srt.

 

If you have to ask, you shouldn't be coming out on Saturday nights anyways.

"i call bullshit on the tiburon story" of course you would you own a srt but like i said i know how fast they are and it was probly the driver. i got no reason to lie i wanted the srt to win, so you call bullshit all you want oh yeah did i mention that its a v6 with mabey 190 hp,(which is not that fast in comparison) i know i did, and v6's on a down shift are gonna pull strong, but im sure you already knew that.


and flneon if you read why i asked that you would understand. and what does asking the question have to do with going out there or are you just tryin to have something to say.

The reason I said what I did is because the last thing anyone wants is another "noob" coming out and killing himself and/or someone else or disrupting the flow of things (i.e. burnouts, loud music, sensless reving of your engine, etc). Say your different. Since you are a "noob", I would expect you to but the fact of the matter is if you don't already come out or don'y know how toyu handle yourself, then do everyone else a favor on a Saturday night and make a bag of popcorn and stay in.

And I agree with the "BS" call on the Tiburon story. I've dusted everyone I have ever come across and I'm completely all-motor and a stock SRT will put a hurt on me without a shot of nitrous so there ain't no way you got a jump and stayed ahead for any length of time unless you started racing him a quarter mile ahead of him already.

Another thing.....why come to the Dodge forum of TR when you don't own one and ask about coming out on the weekends? You set yourself up to be scrutinized under a microscope when you do something that makes no sense.

And last but not least, its not TR drama. Its you getting into a pissing match with someone else that knows more than you.
