thanks ive got about 2600 into this engine so far the body looks like hell and the interior is full so im am stock weight still. havent finished this build yet, still finding out things before i put it together. im doing this car the right way.ive considered the axles already so untill i can afford them im going with shit ass tires so that if i get under to much load they will just break loose.
anyways any ideas on times or hp for this setup?

w/ no bottle? you might be pushing 200 or so...hard to tell really, I wouldnt count on any more than that anyway...if I were you though I would have gone with a 2.4L block...better base..either turbo or NA...with 18s a 2.4 would be a beast...but the #1 reason for 2.4 is torque....30ft lbs more than a 2.0 stock for stock, no reason not to unless you have already bought internals...if you have...trade them for 2.4 pistons and build a 2.4 instead, I guarantee you would be more happy with the results, with 200HP you should be able to pull off a low 14 I think...maybe a 13.9 if you are very lucky

yeah i had thought about the 2.4 swap but didnt feel that for just 30lbs of tq was worth the effort, and also in the end what would be the difference in the finished product between the 2.0 and 2.4 using the same parts? i already got the internals je pistions, eagle rods, main and rod bearings, rings, oilpump. so i already spent the money for the 2.0
