Default Local 3" Cutout DP Manufacturer

Well I am in the planning stages with a local shop (Chavez Motorsports) about making some products for the SRT4 . Right now were gauging intrest on the type of products , you the consumer would like to see get produced . Lined up and possibilities to come are

:

3" DP with cutout , Needswing style , better merge into the cutout In the 275-300 Range

Traction Bars (What price would you like to see ?)

Hardpipes - Limited flange opportunity in the begining , but KJ can place whatever flange you would like on it . (What price would you like to see ?)

FMIC - Bar and plate core , undecided on size as of yet , most likely a Precision or Similar core (What price would you like to see ?)

Please post what you would like to see made that isnt going to be immense fab work . I will have a CMS 3" DP and 02 Housing , FMIC , Hardpipes and possibly traction Bars on at TrackDay for those who want to see the quality of the work .

Sounds like a good plan. I would say keeping the price at or just below the norm for these items would be the best for both us and them.

If they would do the installs on their parts I'm sure you would sell alot of them. I know I for one HATED installing my hardpipes on my Spearco Monster intercooler and the downpipe isn't exactly fun either, especially without a lift. If you could sell them for the same prices as on teh SRT forums and offer installation that would bring in good business I'm sure. But thats just my .02

Well my hardpipes took about 2 hrs partly b/c I had a hard time trying to find a t-bolt clamp to fit the oval shaped opening on the hotside. Downpipe was done on a lift so for me only about 30 min. but the majority of people out there when given the option of buying parts and getting them installed would pay a premium and probably continue to buy parts from said seller due to ease of purchase. If they can even come close to forum prices they would be placing themselves very competitively in the market, especially if they do good work. Word of mouth is paramount in this case. OK I'm finished with my marketing schpeel.
