7:45am USF Library Parking Lot. I am there. Here's a good point my wife brought up, are we going to all be able to eat at Cracker Barrel and get to the track within that hour? Should we let the cracker barrel know that 20 of us are gonna show up to eat so they have room for us?

Well if time and the amount of people is a problem we could always just meet at a McD or BK, get our food fast, chill, then go over...but i dunno if there is one off the 75 exit before we reach the track...anybody???

 

As long as we get a count of how many should be coming and call Cracker Barrel when we are on the way we should be ok for there I would think. There is definately fast food places to eat close to there but they are the opposite direction from the track but not too far.

Sweet, I honestly think that there is absolutly no way in hell that Cracker Barrel will be able to seat us and feed us in a hour, expecially on a Saturday morning, but I'm down to eat there anyway, if not, we can always just go the other direction for a while until we hit a fast food joint, plus this allows us some extra time in case the trip takes longer than expected. Just a thought. It'll be badass to roll up with a whole group of us, I hope we get like 15 or so of us there.

I doubt they can seat 20 of us unless we call up there and reserve the front dinning hall or something . Also I doubt they would do that on a Sat morning ...

Well we still have to figure out a way for the Hills and Pinellas peeps to meet so if its not gonna be Cracker Barrel we should decide on a place...is there anything right off of the Drag Strip exit where we could all meet, then all drive to a place to eat, then head to the track? You guys have a good point even IF we all met up right at 8 and IF we all made it down there by 9 and IF we all ate it would probably take more time than we have, something fast would be optimal since nothing is going to run on a smooth schedule, fact of life.

 

I talked to the Cracker Barrel in Bradenton and they said that they don't take reservations and that time is the busiest time for them but they will write it down that we are coming with about 20 people so they can try to be ready for us but they can't promise that we will all be able to sit together. If we choose not to go there I can call them and tell them not to worry about it. Fast food is close, but I can't remember how far away from the track it is.

 

McDonalds is close to the track if I'm not mistaken, or at least close to the interstate. We should plan to meet the Pinellas people there at like 9:15 ish. That gives us enough time to get there, eat, and get to the track, registered, and ready to go. I was thinking of bringing some of my tools, and my floor jack, just in case anyone needs it, possibly some other tools as well. I'm planning on getting race gas at the track now, becasue I don't have access to a can anymore. SO far the count of people is like what 5 or 6 meeting up for sure?
