I test drove a used SRT-4 today from a local dealer I must say ....that thing was a POS it was surging like crazy in second gear ......plus I could hardly get the thing into second gear since the synchros were so damaged.....I was not impressed at at all.......when the car was in boost at WOT....it felt much slower than my WRX....and I am dead ass

 

so you test drove a beat on srt, thats not running right and now they all suck?

Pretty much, It only had 11,000 on it.

 

poor SRT, abused at a young age, screws it up for life, heh, naw, seriously drive one that wasnt owned by somebody who doesnt know how to drive a 5 speed

 

i agree. people are beating the shit out of these cars. they will become DSMs in another 7-8 years im almost SURE. if you beat on something and put it away wet, eventually you'll pay for it. drive a new one.

you know I don't get that. What exactly are you supposed to do w/ a sports car? drive it like a buick? Granted, the car should still be tip top shape down the road if it's worth its salt and wasn't driven incorrectly.
