Default stage 1 SRT4 dyno numbers

I seen this Stage 1 SRT4 pull on the dyno twice and the best power he could pull was 217 hp, what exactly hp should you get out of a stage 1 and what could have been his problems? was it Dan drivin it?

I will say this the car went from 90 to 130 in about 2 seconds, it was fuckin fast.

thats about normal. You have to evaluate the whole curve.

so you gain about 15 hp to the wheels with a Stage 1 setup, which I do not know what that consists of either.

But the curve I assume you mean was the TQ which was lower than the HP in numbers, and didn't really come on very low in the RPM range which is something I have never seen a piston turbo car do, unless something is wrong, and thats why I am asking these question, I am curious. I was down @ the shop 1 day and there was about 20 SRT4s, doing dyno pulls and I watched a while.

More than likely, if he/she hasn't upgraded their wastegate spring, then it'll look like they haven't gained that much. The spring is only a 4lb spring, so they'll only spike to 15psi, and drop to anywhere between 12-10psi, depending on how the car feels. I'm at stock pcm, but when I put my SRT4 on with the spring mod, and bouncing back and forth between 14-15psi, I was pulling 215whp and 233wtq. But I wanna run again, I have moved the spring to a different place, and it's much more stable now, so I wanna try it out again. One thing that I have read in SRTforums, is that PCM pulls timing once you've reached the max psi the PCM will handle. When I was trying out to up boost, the S0(Stock PCM) was pulling timing over 15psi while holding. I'm still learning the vacuum line setups though. Goodluck

Levi got there and had no idea what was going on..the car in question made stock HP and nothing is wrong with the car. He simply misunderstood the graph. Any SRT4 will make peak torque from 2000-4800rpm which is in the neighborhood of 235-255wt stock depending on year...IF stock. Modded SRT4s will make 275-300wt

That dyno over there is whacked IMO. Operators never start the dyno at the same point, the graphs never cross pproperly.
I been there twice for some cheapo pulls, and its like cryptography to compare the graphs.....but hey, it at least registered some gains.

yeah I noticed problems in the graphs also.

I was there selling Ford Performance rear end gears sets and had nothing to do with the Neons being there. Since I own a older type of Turbo Dodge, I had to ask how could TQ be lower than HP when HP is a calculation of TQ..

PS: Dan get a SRT4 ...JFWY
