Default Input shaft question

How can I check to see if the shaft is " bad"..

Would a bad input shaft cause the trans to not shift into gear when running?

This is a old crappy 525 or 520...5 speed.

Mike, help me if you can hear this..lol

you have a POS 525 tranny in there if the input shaft is broke than yes, sounds to me like the shift fork might be bent or pressure plate is toast, than you have those shifter rods than can do some weird things on 525 trannys, i do have a auto that's a direct bolt in that you can have, i'll even throw in a new Pioneer flexplate to get your car going if you are in a hurry

Sounds good to me. I am ready to shoot this 525 crap hole.

I am getting the clutch and plate replaced for free. So those are around if you need a Stage 2 set up..

Pm what days you have off, maybe I come over and show the Toyota..

The shaft is not bad.

The clutch plate had a piece broken off it, where it retains the inner springs.
