im a nissan guy and asking this for a friend, because i dont know anything about neons. is it possible, and if so how hard and what does it cost, and what is involved, in putting a srt-4 engine into a (whatever generation '96 is) neon, thanks, lemme know.

 

way too much work involved(engine mounting,wiring harness,electronics) if his car is already a DOHC its very easy to turbo it, i have turbochaged a Neon with a 99 Caravan 2.4 engine swap, if your friends car is a SOHC i can convert it to DOHC, if interested in some work LMK and i'll be glad to help, i've worked for Chrysler and ASE certified

 

I woulda thought it was a pretty straight forward swap xcept for the electronics.....
