Default Mopar BOV conversion kit.

Mainly for the GT Cruiser and SRT 4 guys, and those sleepers with 2.4 Turbo swaps

Its just a plate with some 'holes' allowing the stock surge valve to vent to atmosphere.

Hopefully anyone with a 2.4 Turbo swap is not using a SRT turbofold. Especially now that they cost 1200 :o

Well I finally got mine yesterday, and installed it 2 times! today.
First time, I hook up everything and then crank er up...hit the gas....and what do i hear

The good ole compressor surge. Take it back off then realise my dumb ass :o had it on backwards......spend another 45 mins getting it on.

Sounds similar to a RFL, but not as high pitched. Worth the fiddy sex dalla I paid for it

Gee, it's almost like it was planned that way from the factory.

You wanna know something...It wasnt....A FULL BOV was planned, but an engineer made one sometime for his personal SRT4, and since most of the CHILDREN were crying about the Mopar Performance Part Prices, a few were made, and sent into the real world for testing...

The people liked, it worked, and it was cheap.

There is one other guy I know of that made his own....very similar design.

Well, that's actually a more entertaining story. It's always nice to know that there's a few bright, creative people working at a car company, and that their ideas are valued. When that isn't true, you get the new civic si. *

*no offense to civic si owners, of course, I simply find them unattractive and underpowered. Get a type-s engine in there for the same price and you might have something.
