I saw your post in one of the forums. I'm emailing to inquire about suspension tuning pricing on parts I already have installed on my 2007 Honda Civic Si. I have installed Tein Super Street coilovers, SPC rear camber arms, Ingalls front camber adjustment bolts, front strut tower brace and a Progress rear sway bar. I've installed the parts and had my front camber and alignment adjusted after I installed the coilivers, but I'm not happy with the ride and handling. Any help is appreciated.

Everything is a compromise. Increasing stability in the corners sometimes makes for a rough ride on the street and loss of comfort. On a race track comfort and soft ride is not a priority. Race cars don't have to contend with speed bumps and pot holes and have less limitations on how far they can be lowered.

I'm wondering if I lowered too much and when I go into corners too much weight is shifted to the tire with the best contact. Im on the second to last stiffness damper setting.


I'm wondering if something like polyurethane bushings, front sway bar, braces are necessary or if I just need someone who knows what they're doing to maximize what I already have.

We can take a look at it sometime to see 1. how much the car is lowered. We
can also 2. drive through a few turns to see if what's done so far fits your
individual driving style. Does the front end push outward in the turns or does
the rear end hang out too easily? Does the car lean too much in the turns?
These are subjective things that have to be seen probably, to figure a
direction to proceed, and the order of things to do first.

2. Generally weight shifting to the tire with the most grip is better than shifting
weight to the tire with least grip. Make sense?

Newer, better bushings will have a better effect on handling than worn bushings.
