Default Shop that Installs Springs for Cheap

Just got some RCE yellows and some saggy rear butt spacers today and was siked untill I called advaced performance who said they charge $300 toatal at $75 an hour. How the fuck is it an hour a wheel with power tools. So w/e not going there. So does anyone know of a good shop that installs springs for cheap and when I say cheap I mean under $200 atleast. I remember a shop on kennedy that went out of business that was charging $100. Ah those were the days.........

You failed to mention what car you're talking about.

But, if you think it's so easy, why not spend a couple bucks on some tools and just do it yourself?

Sense a little attitude there buddy. Calm down. Its a 2007 sti and I never said it was easy just not a $400 job obviously when some shops charge a lot less. And the reason I dont do it myself is cus I work full time. Don't have time or energy for that mess.

Part attitude and part truth. If you're going to come into this forum asking questions about your suspension (even if it's just "who should I take it to"), you should start with what the car is. And you could buy every tool you need from jack stands to wrenches and a spring compressor for half of what a shop would charge to do the job.

I'm pretty sure if you check around, you'll find that the time estimate for a job like that is on the order of 3-4 hours. If I were quoting the job, I'd quote 4 hours unless I was a Subaru expert and knew I could do it a lot quicker.

I'd pay $300 to have that job done by a qualified shop that I trust to do the job right before I paid the kids down the street $200 to do it. Sometimes you get what you pay for.

The question I'd be asking is whether or not the installation charge includes the alignment that you'll need after it's done.

Pm me or call my number. I offer the best rates in Tampa.
If I get them installed sooner than estimated, I only charge for the time I took.-Bob
