Default teins or neuspeeds ?

-Ok i got yellow neuspeeds on my ek coupe and rides perfect , 10/10 but i just think personally its a little too high.

-Now i got a set of green teins but they look like they've been cut , on top of the springs about a full circle , but im pretty sure this will lower it where i want it.

NOW - question is you guys think this will ride better ?? tein vs neuspeed ???

-shocks are stock i believe.

Full-length anything is going to ride better than a cut-up lowering spring.

Brand name doesn't mean anything after you cut the spring. Brand name doesn't mean much, anyway, other than maybe a good quality spring and known spring rates. But, once you've cut the spring, the rate becomes an unknown, so the fact that they are "Tein" spring is irrelevant.

on a oem shock the lower you go the shittier the ride will be, so either sacrifice your decent ride quality for ride height or vice versa

should be straight then, as long as you have a somewhat decent shock to match up with your drop you should get a decent ride.

but some are made for more aggressive setups than others.

Ex.
Tokico blues < Tokico illumina

The thing is that you have no idea what your "used to be Tein" spring rates are or how much suspension travel you'll have left with them. My guess would be that you'll have maybe an inch of travel left, and the spring rate will not be sufficient to keep you from slamming the bump stops on anything that resembles a bump. This makes for a very harsh ride. The only way a shock can help that is by being obscenely stiff, which would keep the car off of the bump stops (most of the time), but would bring it's own harshness that would be felt constantly.

Another problem here is that you're completely stuck on brand names, which mean nothing by themselves. "Tein springs" can be anything. I have a pair of leftover Tein springs in my garage. They are 70mm diameter 7kg/mm race springs from a Miata coilover kit. Quite a different animal from any of the available Tein "lowering springs" on the market... and each of those lowering spring models is different from the next. So saying that they're "Tein" springs means nothing. And the fact that they have what you're guessing to be a full coil cut from them makes them even more of an unknown.

Same with shocks. "Tokiko" is a brand name. You can get shitty stock replacement Tokiko's, slightly better ones, decent adjustable ones, quite a variety of shocks... all of them say "Tokiko" on them.

Looking at your photo, I think your ride height is fine, and if you like the way it rides and handles, don't mess with it! What you need is a slightly taller and wider tire. Maybe a larger diameter wheel if you're into that sort of thing.

Your drop looks a lot more like Neuspeed sports (green) versus the race (yellow). Also Koni, Bilstein, and Moton IMO are at the top of the suspension game. There is another company, I can't think of the name, they are a full coil over... all silver and black. Someone help me think of the name, made in the USA in like Washington or something?

^^thanks guys i repped both of you for the help .

but anywho , im not really into the suspension game to know all specifications and measurements or any other types of teins or neuspeeds but i do know the difference in the way my ride is comparing both setups. also im not really into huge rims , anything bigger than 16's , and in wider tires but thanks for your input it was greately appreciated.

i guess for now my suspension will stay untill i find a better set up that will drop my ride atleast another inch and that drives as flaweless as this set up . you guys have any other options on suspension i should do ?? (staying on a budget) new or used .
