i got a 2007 civic sedan on 16x8 xxr 002 and i wanted to know ur opinions on which lowering springs i should get...im so confused on what to get i want it to look nice, so its between tein s techs (1.4 front and 1.3 back drop), eibach sportlines (1.4 drop all around), or skunk 2 (2.25 front 2.0 back)....helppp!!!

16" tall and 8" wide seems pretty big to be lowered easily if a person wants the tires/wheels to clear. Going tall fills the wheel opening and looks good, but it doesn't
always work when a car goes low.

It is usually best to lower a car first and THEN choose rims that will fit within the fenders. I carefully measure a suspension when I'm lowering a car to be sure the tires/wheels will not rub.

A While back someone brings in a car with really nice rims and there was nothing I could do to help him. I could drop the back end, since the wheels stayed in a straight line, but the car would look really hokey with the front end still high in the air.

Some people drop a car, then have a rock hard suspension to keep the wheels from rubbing. A rock hard suspension on the street removes the fun of driving.... from my humble opinion....as well as destroying the car. If you want someone to look at the car before you buy springs that are too short and maybe have to return them, I can look at the car for free at one of the meets that I go to. -Bob
