Default Do you need?

A coilover key to raise and lower coilovers or are there other ways? My car came with coilovers but no coilover key and I want to drop it another .5 inch-1 inch depending if it rubs or not. The coilovers a Ractive or atleast thats what he told me.

Most coilovers are raised and lowered with spanner wrenches. I am sure there are other ways to adjust them but I am not sure of those ways.

You can use a long flat head screw driver and a hamer to tap it lose and then you just screw the perches by hand. (of course you have the to this with the vehicle raised )

it all just depends on the coilover...
get the car in the air, take the wheel off and see if you can figure it out just by looking at it (or post a pic and we'll help you figure it out)

I measure some things first so I can later tell how much of a change I have made, to be sure everything is the same height, and to re-adjust as needed, should a person change their mind about their requirements.

I raise the car to take pressure off the adjusters.

You can use a long straight blade screw driver and a hammer to tap it loose and then you can screw the adjustment rings by hand.

A height change usually requires a toe in adjustment, and
lowering past a certain point requires camber kits to avoid the tires being eaten. -Bob
