damn u guys where joking about the tire size diameter... i might be buying sum rims off a friend but they are 205/40/17 , and from what that calculator says ima be going almost 5mph slower then normal and i need to bump up tire size to 205/50/17 to keep my stock speedo configuration.

 

for referance, the white car is mine, its a lower drop on 17s, and my girlfriends car is the green one, dropped maybe an inch less on 16 inch wheels, same tire size, respectively

 

yeah my car looks like ur girls car right now, but only thing im still skeptical of is the whole 195/65/15 vs 205/40/17 deal with my mph and mileage... do you face the same problem? or no

 

If I were you,...........I wouldn't let the possible 5mph difference change the decision on whether to go 15" or 17" rim/tire size.

 

it doesn't bother me, but retrospectively, for performance i'm going to have to go with a smaller wheel, the look is pretty decent with the 17, but i have to go back to 13s


but no, your MPH probably isn't that accurate any more anyways, and i highly doubt you drive exactly the speed limit anyways...

and i got 30+ MPG on my prelude carb'd that dropped a cylinder so fuel economy was no issue

 

sidenote look how much bigger her brakes are, they're slightly larger but they look HUGE
