Im ordering my springs and spindles this weekend for the s10, but i want it dropped now. I dont care about the stock suspension at all ill replace it all if i mess it up, but i have no clue how to do what. Im pretty good with repairing and replacing parts so what do i need to do?

 

if u want a cheap quick drop take a leaf out of the rear and as for the front heat the springs with a blow torch and add extra weight that will make the springs mold down lower. i've heard this called a longbeach lowering kit... its free rides like shit but your lower and can get the look you want now

 

also forgot if you don't want to use a torch of the front springs you can remove them and just cut a couple coils out of them for that free drop.....

I don't go along with heating springs, even temporarily.
Before you cut a coil spring, the suspension really needs to be measured first...............and your truck will be different from an FWD import.

Measuring is the key to lowering a vehicle using OEM springs and stock adjusters. I may be the only one on TR that knows how to measure a vehicle suspension to analyze how to safely lower it with OEM springs.

Lowering the back is quick with leaf removal, and it will soften the harsh ride of a truck somewhat.-Bob
