I wish I didnt have to....
But since I do, I might as well make the most of it... I have interviewed for a new job and from what I understand will get an offer tomorrow....
It will increse my pay a bit and give me the benifits of 70% or so of travel. I know, I know.... I won't be around as much, but I will be home on the weekends....
Plus it's only the southeast, and alot of it will be local.... so I'll still be around most of the time....
Oh well, just had to vent... Lets see what happens from here...
If I take the offer, I will plan on putting in my 2-weeks on March 31.... just b4 April Fools day....

The job basically is going to be one where I travel to clients to setup clusters and connect them to SANs. I am good with all of that stuff, so it should be aight...
Plus they have offered about 3 training classes already right off the bat... I know the stuff, but getting formal training will make me that much better.
I am actually getting sick of computers in general, and plan on finishing my degree online and making a career switch in about 2-3yrs. Prolly to sales of some sort.... since I seem to have a knack for that stuff....

I am in the worst part of job hunting... "salary negotiation"... this is where the company tries to offer you the lowest number they think you will work for, all the while you are trying to get them to give you the highest number possible without pissing them off....
