Friggin' driveshafts...
You know what's nice about having an underpowered grocery getter? I doesn't break driveshafts. Why the hell I had to go and change out a perfectly good non-axle breaking motor is beyond me but I did and I spent my whole damn auto-x heat on my back changing a friggin' driveshaft.
Then again, perhaps the blame lies in the NAPA axles I bought under the promise that they were "beefy" and not on my monster motor. Regardless I'm annoyed that it happened and I'm venting. Damn car is just sucking money out of my wallet. Perhaps the car is angry and requires a sacrifice to appease it? Now where's that damned cat...... :o

I went for some "beefy" axles, they weren't in stock and I was assured that the Napa axles were just as good. They looked just fine but obviously they weren't. Anyways, long story short, Bill is installing a 100% grade A beefy set from Raxles on Tuesday.

UPDATE: Add DAP axles to shit list. Boot unbroken and supple but the damn boot clamp wasn't on tight enough. Result? Suspension covered in grease and a shot outer joint. Yippee.....score another for remanufactured driveshafts.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
but seriously, it did what we wanted it to do, it lasted until you could replace it.
I'm actually surprised it lasted 2 days.

Yipee.....Raxles bites too.
Axles came today, installed them with loving care, take car for test drive, guess what? Whole car shudders during acceleration. Just fuckin' wonderful eh? I'm really getting sick of this bullshit.
